An Orlando high school was evacuated Tuesday morning after a fire alarm was activated, and a short time later, a student suffered a seizure, fire officials said.
Timber Creek High School, located on Avalon Park Boulevard, was evacuated around 7:05 a.m. so firefighters could check the facility.
Orange County Fire Rescue said an ambulance was called to the school about 15 minutes later because a student suffered a seizure. It's not known if the incidents are connected.
Crews were checking for signs of a fire.
