Fashion Shows, Grand Prizes, Talented Wedding Vendors, Floral & Décor expected to Draw Big Crowds at Central Florida’s Largest & Most Popular Show of the Season
Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) May 31, 2013
Brides in every stage of planning a wedding are invited to attend Orlando Perfect Wedding Guide’s Bridal Show at the Orlando World Center Marriott, 8701 World Center Drive, Orlando, FL from 11am – 4pm.
Perfect Wedding Guide, a locally-focused wedding planning resource, hosts Orlando’s largest and most well-attended bridal shows in the area. This season’s event features over 100 Central Florida wedding professionals who will share with bride’s tips, trends and new ideas in the wedding planning.
As the economy continues to even out, insiders report that the wedding industry is still thriving. Even with the country’s current economic shift, brides are focusing on products and services that offer the most bang for their buck. In 2012, 18,058 weddings took place in Orlando alone, with an average cost of $24,950 with the bulk of the wedding budget spent on venues and catering.
“There will be over two million weddings this year with the wedding industry generating over $53 billion dollars in revenue. Brides attending bridal shows has risen 23% according to The Wedding Report,” says Jennifer Heckle, Perfect Wedding Guide's Bridal Show Manager. “With many weddings being funded by couples, the latest trend we are also seeing is for couples to attend bridal shows together. Previously, shows were attended primarily by the bride and her mother or bridesmaid, but now nearly 40% of attendees are actually couples. All of the vendors a couple needs for their big day are brought together in one place. With the groom in attendance, there is increased communication and both get input, allowing them to come to mutual decisions as to choosing vendors together, and quicker.”
The bridal event also plans to be a good destination for brides looking to win prizes that could possibly ease the financial burden of planning a wedding. The show promises nearly $10,000 in prizes to be given away, which include DJ services, transportation and photography. There will also be complimentary hair and makeup trials, sample hors d’oeuvres, Photobooths, flipbooks, two fashion shows featuring the latest in bridal, grooms wear and bridesmaid attire, and the first 100 brides to receive a tote bag filled with goodies at the door. To register for this event and BOGO tickets, visit Orlando.PWGShows.com. Tickets are $10 at the door (cash only).
