Orlando, FL (PRWEB) July 08, 2013
Central Florida music lovers are in for a very special treat with the return of the “Orlando Rocks!” concert series featuring top musical group “Lovestruck Robot” on Saturday, July 27 at House of Blues. In this much-anticipated night of music showcasing the area’s biggest musical artists, Lovestruck Robot will hit the stage and perform their acclaimed original tracks and debut their exciting new single. “Orlando Rocks” also features local bands “Stockholm,” “Empire Theory” and “W.E.R.M”. Guests can enjoy this unforgettable night of music for free with advance tickets or pay $5 at the door.
“It’s going to be the ultimate Orlando summer show with a really cool lineup of four great bands," says lead singer Jace Magee. “You can expect to hear the tunes that you already know and love from the "I Wanna Be In A Band" album, and we're also debuting a few songs from the new upcoming EP. We're honored that House of Blues is giving us this opportunity and feel good to be closing out the show. It adds a lot of pressure to deliver an amazing show and live up to the expectations, but I'm confident that LSR will not disappoint."
Within the first week of the band’s first full studio album release in April 2011, “I Wanna Be In A Band,” Lovestruck Robot beat out more than 300 bands winning the prestigious Florida Grammy Showcase the opening night of the Florida Music Festival & Conference. Receiving positive feedback from program directors, distribution contacts, music industry experts and the general public, the Orlando-based band’s following has since skyrocketed. The album’s popular track “Do It All For The Dream” was picked up by Sirius XM Radio in the summer of 2012 in regular rotation giving them worldwide play daily, and it reached #5 in the “Top 20 Countdown” receiving more than 500 spins during a three-month period. Coupled with the remaining 10 tracks on the record that each possess a unique style and flavor, Lovestruck Robot’s debut album is a multi-faceted collection of fresh sounds that offer something for every audience. It’s amazing to discover the wide range of vocals come from just one highly-talented lead singer.
Lovestruck Robot’s fresh sound and unique music is a combination of groovin’ pop, rock and alternative sounds, and industry personnel have described their distinctive sound as a collaboration of Maroon 5, Justin Timberlake and Lenny Kravitz. The band wows fans performing live shows several nights a week at notable venues all throughout the southeast, continuing to establish themselves as serious players in the music industry with a fan-base that continues to grow. Their common obsession with music leaves the Lovestruck Robots with no choice but to follow the gravity-defying pull toward the music they love.
Get on the bandwagon and experience Lovestruck Robot at “Orlando Rocks!” this month on Saturday, July 27 at House of Blues located at 1490 E Buena Vista Drive in Downtown Disney West Side. Doors open at 7pm, and the show starts at 8pm with Lovestruck Robot bringing the night home at 11pm. Advance tickets are free by emailing your name, address and number of tickets needed to fans(at)lovestruckrobot(dot)com. Tickets are $5 at the door night of the show.
