The Orlando City Council on Sept. 15 will look at approving 14 events with the potential to bring about 100,000 people to the City Beautiful. Events help draw people into a city, which induces spending and helps stimulate the economy. The biggest events, by far, are those related to Come Out With Pride 2014, the annual gay pride festival that will bring 75,000 people to the Lake Eola area.
