"We're tracking an area of low pressure in the Bahamas moving into Central Florida Thursday into the weekend," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

On Thursday afternoon some storms will be strong, with winds up to 50 miles per hour.  Some parts will get up to 3 inches of rain and lots of lightning, Bridges said.

Rain chances increase to 50 percent for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

High temperatures in Orlando will be close to the average of 91 degrees into next week.

"We're also tracking a new wave off Africa, and it has a 40 percent chance of development in the next five days," Bridges said.
