New 85-room hotel proposed across from Orlando Regional Medical Center

Orlando Medical Plaza Inc. plans to add an 85-room hotel and renovate the existing two medical office buildings across the street from Orlando Regional Medical Center. The estimated $14.6 million project would involve construction of a new eight-story midrise with 60 hotel rooms in the first phase, and the second phase would involve renovating existing space on the second and third floor of one of the buildings to include another 25 rooms, said documents submitted to the city.
