A 3-year-old girl is dead, after a hit-and-run crash in Orlando.
Investigators tell Local 6, the child's mother called emergency dispatchers around 9:30pm Saturday night.
The woman told police her daughter had been hit by a car in the parking lot of the Grandview Point Apartments on Americana Boulevard, in Orlando.
The mother told dispatchers she was in the process of driving her daughter to the hospital.
Dispatchers asked the woman to pull over at John Young Parkway and Americana Boulevard.
Emergency workers then took the girl to Arnold Palmer Hospital, where she died.
Doctors say her injuries are consistent with being hit by a car.
Investigators have not released details about the crash, or the type of vehicle involved.
