A woman and a teenage boy were shot early Thursday in an Orlando home invasion, according to deputies.
The double shooting occurred around 12:35 a.m. in the 7400 block of Golden Glenn Court near Goldenrod Road.
According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, a man entered an unlocked house and demanded valuables from five people inside. Some residents tried to get the man to leave, but he pulled a gun and started shooting, striking a 42-year-old woman and a 16-year-old teen.
The woman was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center and the teen was transported to Arnold Palmer Hospital. Both suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The gunman stole a wallet after the shootings and ran away, deputies said.
The assailant was only described by deputies as about 20 years old. He was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans. Reported by Click Orlando 8 hours ago.
