More afternoon storms are in the forecast for Central Florida, with "feels like" temperatures again reaching 100 degrees.

The actual high temperature in the Orlando area on Thursday will top off at 93 degrees, and there's a 40 percent chance of rain.

"Once the sun goes down, we lose a lot of energy and those showers," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

Overnight lows will be in the mid-70s.

The forecast for Friday, the first day of summer, is nearly the same, with a high of 92 expected.

Rain chances will be at 30 percent through the weekend and into next week.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Barry was dumping drenching rains as it headed toward Mexico.  The system will not impact the weather in Central Florida, however.
