The city of Orlando plans to spend $4 million to improve the area near the Amtrack Station near Orlando Regional Medical Center in preparation for the arrival of the $1.3 billion SunRail commuter rail, reported Fox 35. The city plans to upgrade the street, organize parking and improve the sidewalk. The money for the road improvements will come from the state, and the project is slated to be complete by next summer when SunRail trains hit the tracks.
