Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center to unveil new plaza renderings

In just a few months, the first phase of the new $400 million Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Orlando is expected to open.

As work continues to ramp up, developers are also revealing more details about the project.

On Wednesday, workers are set to unveil design renderings of the CNL Arts Plaza. The area will soon serve as an outside landscape centerpiece.

The plaza will span one city block from Orange to Magnolia Avenue and give people an area to gather outside and watch outdoor performances.

The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts will host an event at the construction site on S. Orange Avenue to release the new renderings at 10:00 a.m. Reported by Click Orlando 9 hours ago.
