A chilly night is ahead on Friday in Central Florida as the overnight low drops to 46 in Orlando and down to 41 in Ocala.

Saturday, after a chilly start, will be a much improved day, said Local 6 Chief Meteorologist Tom Sorrells. Loads of sunshine is projected for the afternoon and the high temperatures will pass 70 degrees.

Sunday looks even better, Sorrells said, as the sun sticks around and the high goes to 80 degrees.

Expect more of the same as you go back to work on Monday with lots of sunshine and a high of at least 80.

There is no mention of rain in the forecast until at least Wednesday. Reported by Click Orlando 20 hours ago.
