Flagler County deputies said two people have been arrested after a two county, high speed pursuit Sunday morning.
Deputies said the two people, 24-year-old Dyson Graham and a 16-year-old passenger who was reported as missing out of Hillsborough County were caught early Sunday after a high speed pursuit.
Deputies said Graham and the juvenile were in a car that was reported stolen during an armed carjacking in Orange County.
Flagler County deputies said they were contacted by the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office and told deputies were in pursuit of a car reported stolen during an armed carjacking that took place outside the Florida Mall in Orlando Wednesday night.
Deputies said Graham, who was in the black 2009 Toyota Corolla fled from St. Johns
deputy’s south on I-95 hitting speeds, in excess of 100 m.p.h.
Deputies said the car entered Flagler County just before 4 a.m. and exited at Palm Coast Parkway where they had set-up stop-sticks.
As the car exited the interstate, Graham was able to avoid hitting the stop-sticks and then continued across Palm Coast Parkway in an apparent attempt to get back on the interstate, deputies said.
Deputies said Dyson lost control of the car and struck three palm trees before stopping along the southbound entrance ramp.Following the crash, Graham fled, leaving the female passenger inside. He then ran into a wooded area at Cypress Edge Drive, deputies said.
Deputies said after an extensive search on the ground, Graham was located and bitten by a Sheriff's K-9 as he hid under a trash dumpster of the Golden Corral restaurant.
Deputies said Graham was treated and taken into custody and has been charged with multiple charges stemming from stolen property to fleeing and eluding.
Deputies said the female passenger also faces charges.
