A day after temperatures reach the mid-70s across Central Florida on Tuesday, near-freezing temperatures will invade the region.

Freeze warnings and watches have been issued across the area, with wind chill readings reaching the 20s for many parts of Central Florida early Wednesday.

"Temperatures will warm to 75 degrees ahead of the front, with partly cloudy skies and very windy conditions," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.  "There's a 20 percent chance of rain on Tuesday."

Lows in the Orlando area will dip into the upper 30s early Wednesday, with areas to the north dropping to the freezing mark.

Wednesday will be a chilly day, with the high reaching 56 degrees.

The lows early Thursday will be even cooler, with Orlando seeing a low of 36.

Temperatures will gradually warm into the mid-60s through the end of the week.

After Tuesday, there's no chance of rain in Central Florida through the weekend. Reported by Click Orlando 2 hours ago.
