Two masked gunmen robbed an Orlando hotel late Wednesday, and police said the robbery may be linked to nearly a dozen other similar crimes.
The robbery happened around 11:40 p.m. at the Homewood Suites on Gateway Village Creek near Orlando International Airport.
The thieves barged into the hotel and demanded money from a clerk before running away, Orlando police said.
A search failed to locate the gunmen.
No one was injured.
Orlando police are investigating whether the robbery is part of a string of hotel robberies, including six in Orlando, one in Maitland, one in Altamonte Springs and one in Lake Mary, that have occurred since December.
